School choice and background checks

The Wisconsin Senate engaged in fiery debate over efforts to improve the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program. One prominent issue was how choice schools would conduct criminal background checks.
In response to erroneous information during the debate, long-time choice supporter George Mitchell fired off a letter to state legislators.
