Parental Choice Programs Continue to Grow

More schools, more students and more communities now part of programs
Final numbers were released by the Department of Public Instruction regarding the fall enrollment for all four Parental Choice Programs in Wisconsin. Each program increased enrollment and the number of participating schools. The table below lists the specific numbers over the last two years.
“Parental demand continues to drive the expansion of school choice in Wisconsin,” Jim Bender said. “After two years of a 1% district enrollment cap on the statewide program, the increase to 2% this fall has given the program room to grow.”
