End Of Year WISEdata Training

SCW and the DPI Customer Service Team held a Choice schools training session on June 6, 2023. Important WISEdata reporting tasks were reviewed, along with other valuable topics to help you provide accurate end-of-year enrollment and demographic data. Guidance was also provided to help make your new-school-year data collection go smoothly.   

Items discussed during the training included: 

• End-of-year WISEdata reporting tasks  
• Common error topics, such as:   
  • Exit Dates and Exit Types
  • Completed School Term indicator
  • Credential Types
  • Food Service Program Exit Dates
  • ELP (English Language Proficiency) Scores
• How to collaborate with your SIS (student information system) vendor 
• Choice school WISEdash extracts (located on WISEdata portal)

• How to collect beginning-of-year WISEdata enrollment and demographic information, such as:
  • Food Service Program Eligibility, 
  • Student Economic Status, 
  • Ancestry/Ethnic Origin and Tribal Affiliation 
• A look at the new WISEdata “Vendor Resources” tool
