Wisconsin Act 57: Parental Notification of Alleged Sexual Misconduct by a School Staff Member
Recently, Governor Evers signed Assembly Bill 74 (AB 74), now known as 2025 Wisconsin Act 57, which mandates additional reporting requirements for incidents of sexual misconduct. This new law is effective immediately, and all schools must ensure they are meeting all compliance obligations.
To support private schools during this transition, SCW partnered with the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) for an informational seminar on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 covering the new requirements and practical next steps.
